Welcome to The Crewe Arms

The Crewe Arms is a genuine 15th Century traditional country Freehouse tucked away in picturesque Hinton in the Hedges, ideally suited for a drop in if you're visiting nearby Brackley Antique Cellar, Bicester Village shopping, Hinton Air Field for sky-diving, Stowe School or the Silverstone Circuit. We're also close enough to Oxford, Northampton and Banbury so that if you do fancy something homemade or somewhere comfortable to stay, we're easy enough to find.
For those of you that don’t know us we are vegetarians so in addition to the meat and fish dishes we offer, we feature many vegetarian and vegan dishes. The Crewe is in the Good Beer Guide, we have our own ale, 20 gins, a popular wine list, delicious, fresh food cooked to order and quality tea and coffee. We offer a range of events through each month, including the popular Tapas Heaven, fortnightly quiz and host events for the local Hinton-in-the-Hedges Amenities Trust (HiHat). New in 2019 will be secret dining. We are very dog friendly with biscuits and clean water always available. We are also runners so if you find yourself running up the hill from Brackley and need a water bottle refill, just pop in during opening hours. In the summer expect to hear lots of cricket chat with the Crewe sponsoring the Hinton team.
We have everything you want from a village pub - great food, superb local beers, a couple of gardens and 2 real log fires when it gets cold. We have 2 ensuite bedrooms for overnight or longer stays. We even have 2 private dining rooms which can be booked for events at no extra cost allowing groups to enjoy an event at their own pace. Contact us for details of bespoke menus and available dates.
We hope to see you soon!
